1. Can 3 people share in a room as a triple share?
Yes, you can, but you do share existing bedding – such as 2 x double or queen size beds depending upon hotel availability. If you wish to request a rollaway bed for the 3rd person, we will advise the additional cost.
2. How far ahead do I have to book?
All Mystery Flights need to be booked at least 3 weeks in advance. As we do occasionally sell out for certain date/destination combinations the earlier you book the better.
3. What airline will I be flying with?
Our airlines of choice are Virgin Australia, Jetstar, and Qantas.
4. Do your package prices include airline baggage fees?
Size restrictions apply, refer to airline website for specifications. We include 1 x bag weighing 20-23kgs per person (does not apply to daytrips).
5. Can I select where I go?
Choosing where you go rather defeats the purpose of a Mystery Flight. However, you are able to nominate one destination you do NOT wish to be flown to. This destination is then excluded as a possibility. Canberra and Newcastle are automatically excluded for Sydney departures. Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ballina/Byron Bay and Fraser Coast are automatically excluded for Brisbane departures.
6. When do I find out where I am going?
2-3 days prior to departure you will receive an email itinerary and Mystery Flights itinerary folder will follow in the mail. Your emailed itinerary is all you’ll need at this stage, however, if you open your Itinerary Folder your destination will be revealed.
7. What time will my flight leave/return?
Flight times on day of departure are from 5am and returning flights depart between 10am and 10pm.
8. How long will I have at my destination?
We guarantee at least 6 hours at the destination for Mystery Flight Day Trip travellers.For overnight packages we endeavour to give you the maximum time possible depending on your destination and flight times.
9. Will my flights be direct?
In most cases we will endeavour to confirm direct flights, however, sometimes you may be booked on a flight that connects in another city enroute to/from your destination, with no more than 2 hours connection time.
10. What hotel will I be staying at?
Mystery Flights hotels are 4 stars. Please note we are guided by the rating given to us by the hotels.
11. How will I get from the airport to my accommodation?
Transfers are included as part of our One, Two and Three Night Mystery Flights. Most Mystery Flight transfers are arranged on a seat-in-coach (SIC) basis. Please note that these transfers do not meet every flight. They operate to a set timetable, hence you may have a long wait at the airport on arrival and departure. This waiting time is beyond our control.

12. Can you take children on a Mystery Flight?
Yes. There is a nominal charge of $25 for children under 2 years of age travelling with an adult on a One, Two or Three Night Mystery Flight. There is no charge for children under 2 years of age travelling with an adult on a Mystery Flight Day Trip. For children over 2 years of age the prices are the same as for adult travellers.
13. Can I change a booking?
No, unfortunately once you have made payment for the booking it is non-refundable and non-changeable. Please refer to our home page for travel insurance details.
14. What happens if I’m unable to travel on the day of departure?
Unfortunately, a 100% cancellation fee applies to all cancellations. We suggest you source appropriate insurance cover. Refer to our home page for 1Cover and insurance details.
15. What happens if a flight is delayed or cancelled?
You will need to liase with the airline directly.
16. What time will I be able check in and check out of the hotel?
Hotel check in is usually 2 pm. In some circumstances you may be able to check in earlier, but this is not guaranteed. Hotels usually have secure luggage rooms if you wish to go out and start exploring your destination.Hotel check out time is usually 10am. Again you may leave your luggage at the hotel until it’s time for your airport transfer.
17. Do you have a single room surcharge (SRS)?
Yes. The prices of our overnight packages are based on twin share accommodation. There is a SRS of $75 per night which is applicable to anyone travelling on their own, or, as part of a group but requiring their own room.
18. Do you charge a surcharge for customers paying by credit card?
No, we do not charge a surcharge for any credit card payments.
19. How do I pay for my booking if I have two or more gift vouchers?
Our online booking system lets you redeem a gift voucher and takes the value of the gift voucher off your payment total. If you wish to redeem two or more vouchers in payment of the one booking you will need to contact us.
20. Do I need travel insurance?
We recommend you source appropriate cover.

21. How long does a Gift Voucher last?
Gift Vouchers are valid for Three Years from the Date of Purchase.
